God plays fantasy baseball, and he's in a keeper league.

Tampa Bay Devil Rays 2B Jorge Cantu (foot) has been placed on the 15-day disabled list, because of a broken bone on the top of his left foot, according to the Associated Press. He is expected to miss two to three weeks.

I know it for sure now. God continues to make these things happen, so Delmon and Upton will be called up so He can snag them up in his long-term keeper league. :-b

You have to wonder how much the Devil Rays can take as far as injuries go. The Upton thing still isn't happening, and at this point, how much cold it really hurt? Nick Green, Ty Wigginton, and Sean Burroughs are keeping down top prospects?

I think Upton might be out awhile with a suspension, probably wont be called up.

Do you mean Young...
Last I've heard about Upton is great batting, more errors :-/

From RotoWorld
After being ejected following a called strike three and an argument, Triple-A Durham's Delmon Young threw a bat into the chest of the home plate umpire in Wednesday night's game.
If this was as bad as it sounds, Young should be facing a long-term suspension. It's a shame to see such behavior from the player universally recognized as baseball's best prospect.

At this point, I'm beginning to wonder if we're going to see either of them this year at all except for a cup of coffee in September. It's pretty ridiculous.

not to get too philosophical about this, but if God was in a keeper league and could make players get injured, why wouldn't such a deity just pick a player like Cantu in the first place, make him not get injurewd and make him live forever?

and on that note, why wouldn't he just pick barry bonds and make it so that steroids are legal in baseball? :-D

Poseidon grabbed Bonds in the 4th round. He's a Giants homer.
