That's hilarious, I can't believe Delmon did something that stupid. :-b

It had to be caught on video somewhere, could be a big suspension...

Well, MLB TV now does AAA ball offering all games, so it's definitely on tape.

Elijah Dukes has been a model citizen lately and tearing it up on the field. Have they switched roles or something?

As Young walked away, he pinwheeled his bat directly at the umpire from between 10 and 12 feet away, hitting him on his shoulder and midsection.

So pretty much its the little animation i made.

BBTN does not have video. Gammons is saying that DY has a record of a short fuse and bad attitude and that it is a concern for TB.

I posted it in the Minor League forum, but I guess I will post here also. This isn't me but what I heard from someone at the game today.

Delmon was called out on a pitch he obviously didn't agree with. In frustration while he was walking back to the bench, turned around and tossed his bat at the umpire. Which the guy said more or less just hit him in the shinguards, not directly to his chest. After doing that he continued to spin back around in the direction of the dugout and walk back like nothing happened.

Obviously pretty stupid, but the write ups I have heard make it seem like a violent act where he really wanted to hit the ump.

O they'res video. MILB.tv now gets the action caught for every game. There were probably some independant stations there too. I bet their just talking to the head of minor league opperations about what they are gonna do about the suspension, the video will come out soon its just its not the major leagues so no big networks have it.
