Probably because they're only pitching him away. If anything that's a positive thing, that he can still knock those pitches out the other way.

Its more likely caused because of all of the outside pitches he has seen...he just goes with them and hits them out to left.

Its probably because the scouting report on Bonds now is that he can't go the other way with power anymore because he can't bend his legs to go get the low and away pitch....This report was working at first, but like all good hitters do, Barry has adjusted, and now hes making pitchers pay for not pitching inside.

Agreed with everyone. Seems to be that noone is challenging him inside still. Seems to be hitting an awful lot of balls hard though right now. Frozen ropes all over the ballpark. Outfielders are so funny to watch when Bonds hits a line drive their way. It's hit so hard and with so much spin that they look pretty ridiculous trying to get under it. I don't see how he'll retire mid-season. He's got a good team that will contend for the division all year long if not win it going away.
