Quite a few people get the latest updates and news at the cafe'. That's what the "Baseball Talk" forum is here for. ;-)

Think about it. 1991, it is 2003 the bragging rights are over. I hate Braves updates too, because they aren't updates, they are "see how the braves are good" posts. I can find out if marcus giles or andruw jones or gary sheffield hits a homerun by looking at the boxscore. Feel free to post when they hit 2 or more hr, or hit for the cycle, or they are injured.

For the record, I don't post Braves updates. I just think it's time
for a Giants fan(I asssume Bay area is a Giants fan) to get over
it.

I'll post the Yankee pitch-by-pitchs and then when you start complaining, I will start yelling out SWEEP!

The Braves posts were concerning the collision between Giles and Prior. Everyone wanted to know if they were ok or if they were hurt. It had nothing to do with the game itself. Everyone was just sharing information about the collision between the 2 players.

I was talking about posts from a while back with no replies saying things like "Gary Sheffield hit a homerun" etc..

No problem. I was just pointing out that when this thread got started, was right after everyone started posting about the collision between Giles and Prior. It was actually pertinant information. It would be like asking people to quit posting about Urbina and the Marlins. We all need all the information we can get. I do agree with you about your "Gary Sheffield hit a home run". No big suprise there. Had it been Juan Pierre 8-o it might have been interesting. Or maybe a slumping star finally waking up (Burrell hit one today).
