Any love for Jason Kubel? He was a phenom before he got hurt last year. Is he going to get a starting spot? Is he worth picking up for a bench spot?

Last I saw in the local paper, he has a good shot at getting the nod, due to injuries to other players. I recall that there was a LOT of hype for this guy, before he got hurt. He has been away for a whole year, so time will tell if he's still the same player.

From what I've seen, he's having a decent spring.

He may help in average but I don't think he will have the pop or RBI/RUN opportunities to ever help you in the OF....

I don't see him being fantasy worthy this year.

Have him in a keeper league and I am trying to trade him. I just can't picture him beocoming anythign more than a little bit better than a Sean Burroughs type players, which in the OF is especially useless. Average without runs, HR, RBI or SB does very little for me.

Kubel is a decent guy to have for a keeper league. He was a top prospect before anihilating his knee. He didn't look like he was having too much trouble swining the bat when I saw him in ST, but that really doesn't mean much. He could produce nothing, but he could also be a .300 hitter with 20+ HRs.
