SIGNS YOU ARE SPENDING TOO MUCH TIME PREPPING FOR DRAFT

Postby Captain Jack Sparrow » Mon Mar 27, 2006 4:36 pm

I was walking through Target today and the sign on the end of the aisle said "paperbacks" but I swore I saw "Papelbon"

It gets worse...

The other night, my buddy told me Duke lost and I initially wondered how he knew the score of the Pirates pre-season game. It took about 10 seconds before I realized he was talking about the NCAA tournament.

Don't even get me started on Cocoa Crisps...

Funnies :-D

And don't post a thread title in all capitals - that's just uncalled for :-t
The odds of the AL MVP coming from the American League are looking pretty good.

Stay away from the board game aisle and Milton Bradley.

I saw a sign that said Bail Bonds and smiled knowing that I put him on my do-not-draft list.

Weird! I also had exactly two dreams (nightmares) about drafting. In one, I couldn't read any of the players' names on the draft board, so I just randomly picked players (the order was apparently jumbled too) ... somehow I still got pujols.

The second one I mistakenly grabbed someone else with the last name "Rodriguez" instead of A-Rod with my first pick.

When you see a news story about asteroids and you immediately think of Barry Bonds and his ass steroids.
Bold Predictions:

Grady Sizemore will have more value than Jason Bay regardless of draft position

Aramis Ramirez in 155 G will hit over .300 40 HR 110 RBIs

Brian McCann will have more value than Jorge Posada regardless of draft position
