Cotts could definitely figure into the mix, particularly with Guillen calling the shots.

Hermanson's back is pretty bad, don't think I'd use the roster spot on him.

Any word on whether or not that chair hit 100 mph? :-B

I would not be surprised by a huge Jenks blowup. I have been professing caution with him for sometime and avioded him like the plague in my leagues.

I'm actually thinking this too. Koch was once a very good closer.

Jenks' mental problwem scare me the most. I have heard he has severe anger issues.
Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!

Its only a matter of time before Jenks blows up. He might have one or two more years in him at the most. He is one guy I am staying far away from this year.

Never really thought about the Billy Koch comparisions, seems pretty fair. John Rocker was always the guy that came to mind for me

I would agree and stay far away from him. Everything I've read on Hermanson is just as bad and retirement was even mentioned in the Chicago Sun Times (though now I can't find the article). Cotts is second in line, but I think Politte is the better pick (and has actually closed before).

Pollitte was AWFUL as a closer as I recall.

Politte was disastrous as a closer. I just said he had closed before. Had a great year last year though. Great WHIP (sub 1) and ERA (2.00) but K/9 were down a little to years past. Finished with 7.7 K/9. Even if he doesn't close he is IMO the best pick of the group, or at least the safest...
