Postby brainiac91 » Fri Mar 24, 2006 11:26 pm

Just did this draft. SPs seemed to slip my mind for a while as mine suck!

C: Lopez
1B: Ortiz
2B: Giles
SS: Rollins
3B: Chavez
OF: Abreu, Sizemore, Tracy
Util: Bonds
Bench: Hunter, Baldelli, Wilkerson, Granderson
SP: Millwood, Lieber, Blanton, Escobar
RP: 2 Corderos, Foulke
Bench: Maddux

God my starters are bad! :(

I agree the offence should be really good but your starting pitchers are gonna kill you. milwood was a one year wonder last year. and lieber plays in a great pitchers park.

My advise. Pray that bonds gets off to a hot start then trade him for some pitching before his legs fall off.
Too poor/cheap to play the good leagues, guess i will settle for the Yahoo winners circuit...

ax64man needs that yellow "L" next to his name, With that said

Team isn't all bad, "offense" is solid and will carry you through alot, but you will need to make a few adjustments, First I know you love him and so do I but Abreu is trade bait, You need a Oswalt, Pettite, Hallday type for him, and someone will sell high for him, Your OF is so solid and so deep you will be ok without him, Hunter has beefed up and is expected to add to his home run numbers, Wilkerson is going to a great hitters park, Granderson is a hot rookie,

so with the addtion of your new SP and loss of Abreu your team look's solid,

(Look for Sosa, Kazmir, Capuno, Loazia on FA)

Please rank my team

I agree. Look to move Abreu for a top starter. He's on his way down and you need the pitching much more.
