right. and being that tall/long also means that you're releasing the ball several inches closer to the plate than most pitchers.

The hitters backdrop doesn't always lineup properly for tall pitcher either, so sometimes it is hard to pick up the ball leaving thier hands...

Yeah, I mean, imagine him coming with an over-the-top delivery. That ball would be more than 8 feet high when it's coming down. It's like they moved the mound back up when he's pitching.
