John Schuerholz has a new book coming out saying that the Braves and Pirates agreed to a trade that would send Bonds to Atlanta. The Braves even scheduled a press conference, but at the very last second the Pirates pulled out.

Imagine how much that would have changed baseball history.

That's pretty amazing. Was it during the season in 1991 or after the season?

Makes you wonder if the Braves would have beaten the Twinkies in '91???

Hey cords, when does this book get released? Do you know the name of it?

As of right now, no date or time. ... 38_1299928

It was announced on Jan. 28, and I heard the info on Mike & Mike in the morning.

Also, about Bonds, if he had gone to Atl I doubt he produces like he did in SF. Something about that California Balco connection I hear about, lol.

So he just has to learn to hit lefties and righties. No biggie there :-?

The talk of Baseball might be a different subject. He might never have met Victor Conte and CasaBALCO might never have happend.

a lot less Bonds Bashing than usual, good to see, we all need to move on to bigger and better things.

Ya, thats pretty interesting, but who knows what wouldve happened, Hotlanta wouldve probably won a couple more WS
