12 Team, non-keeper, roto on Yahoo.

AVG, R, HR, SB, RBI & W, SV, SO, WHIP, ERA.

All 12 teams below with my quick opinion following. Please add any comments you may have and what I could possibly do to improve my chances. Leave your link and I will reply to yours.

Team 1:
C J. Mauer
1B J. Kent
2B R. Weeks
3B S. Hillenbrand
SS R. Furcal
OF J. Bay
OF M. Holliday
OF M. Alou
Util G. Anderson
BN J. Lane
BN J. Guillén
BN D. Young

SP Jo. Santana
SP J. Schmidt
RP E. Gagne
RP J. Nathan
P F. García
P T. Jones
P C. Orvella
BN A. Harang
BN E. Loaiza

Not a good team, imo. Not enough power, should be ok with speed, after Johan his SP is weak, but has good RP.

Team 2:
C A. Pierzynski
1B Mi. Sweeney
2B R. Freel
3B Á. Rodríguez
SS B. Crosby
OF I. Suzuki
OF C. Lee
OF K. Griffey Jr.
Util C. Floyd
BN P. Fielder
BN J. Dye
BN P. Feliz

SP J. Peavy
SP C. Zambrano
RP B. Wagner
RP B. Jenks
P B. Colón
P D. Haren
P T. Gordon
BN B. Chen
BN R. Dempster

Should have plenty of pitching, both starting and relief. Very good offense with good balance. Probably best team right now.

Team 3:
C B. Molina
1B R. Howard
2B M. Giles
3B Mi. Cabrera
SS J. Reyes
OF M. Ramírez
OF V. Wells
OF K. Mench
Util B. Clark
BN B. Hall

SP B. Webb
SP J. Beckett
RP T. Hoffman
RP B. Wickman
P D. Davis
P M. Mulder
P N. Lowry
BN J. Lieber
BN J. Papelbon
BN F. Liriano
BN E. Bedard

Only Reyes to offer SB and should have enough power. Bad SP, but RP should be ok with Hoffman and Wickman.

Team 4:
C V. Martínez
1B C. Utley
2B P. Polanco
3B M. Mora
SS M. Young
OF J. Pierre
OF C. Tracy
OF J. Drew
Util J. Peralta
BN M. Bradley
BN C. Shelton
BN K. Lofton

SP R. Harden
SP R. Oswalt
RP D. Turnbow
RP A. Benítez
P C. Sabathia
P J. Westbrook
P T. Wakefield
BN D. Hermanson
BN J. Smoltz

No power besides Utley on offense, but should have enough speed. Good SPs with Oswalt and Harden, but his RPs are a little questionable.

Team 5:
C J. Kendall
1B T. Helton
2B T. Iguchi
3B G. Atkins
SS M. Ellis
OF V. Guerrero
OF G. Sheffield
OF H. Matsui
Util R. Sexson
BN L. Overbay
BN L. Castillo
BN J. Jones

SP P. Martínez
SP F. Hernández
RP E. Guardado
RP C. Ray
P A. Burnett
P J. Contreras
P L. Hernández
BN D. Lowe
BN P. Byrd

A lot of power, but no speed. SP has a lot of question marks after Felix, imo. Should be ok with saves with the two he’s got.

Team 6 (my team)
C - Johjima
1B - Delgado
2B - Loretta
3B - Beltre
SS – Lugo
OF - Abreu
OF - Damon
OF - Crawford
UTIL - Ordonez
BN - Gomes
BN - Casey
BN - Winn

SP - Halladay
SP - Sheets
RP - F Cordero
RP - B Fuentes
P - Zito
P - Patterson
P - MacDougal
BN - E Santana
BN – J. Weaver

I like the balance I have on offense, but I’m looking to add a little more power, since I have plenty of speed. My SP should compete and my saves should be ok with three RPs.

Team 7:
C J. Varitek
1B A. Pujols
2B F. López
3B A. Ramírez
SS É. Rentería
OF C. Beltrán
OF C. Crisp
OF J. Francoeur
Util T. Hafner
BN B. Wilkerson
BN C. Blake
BN J. Crede
BN M. Lowell
BN J. Encarnación

SP C. Lee
SP R. Clemens
RP C. Schilling
RP S. Shields
P M. Timlin
P C. Capuano
P J. Vázquez

Very nice offense, but probably not enough speed to compete for SBs. Starting pitching is real bad (especially if Clemens is done) and his RP is non-existent.

Team 8:
C J. Posada
1B J. Thome
2B A. Soriano
3B S. Rolen
SS O. Cabrera
OF B. Bonds
OF G. Sizemore
OF A. Huff
Util M. Ensberg
BN S. Green
BN R. Baldelli
BN D. Johnson

SP C. Carpenter
SP B. Myers
RP H. Street
RP K. Foulke
P T. Hudson
P M. Cain
P J. Borowski
BN B. Radke
BN J. Suppan

Should have plenty of power, but Grady and Soriano probably won’t give him enough speed to compete for SBs. First 2 SPs are great, but thin after that. Besides Street, I don’t think he’ll get himself enough saves with Foulke questionable.

Team 9:
C J. López
1B D. Lee
2B C. Figgins
3B D. Wright
SS J. Rollins
OF A. Dunn
OF P. Burrell
OF B. Giles
Util E. Chávez
BN R. Ibañez
BN R. Belliard
BN C. Monroe

SP R. Johnson
SP J. Garland
RP J. Valverde
RP M. González
P K. Millwood
P J. Bonderman
P K. Rogers
BN Z. Duke
BN B. McCarthy

Plenty of speed and probably enough power on offense. Starting pitching is not that good with a real old guy (RJ) and a real young guy (Duke) being risks. No good RPs to speak of.

Team 10:
C I. Rodríguez
1B M. Teixeira
2B J. Cantú
3B C. Jones
SS M. Tejada
OF A. Jones
OF L. Berkman
OF J. Edmonds
Util P. Konerko

SP J. Lackey
SP S. Kazmir
RP C. Cordero
RP J. Isringhausen
P M. Mussina
P R. Villone
P K. Farnsworth
BN M. Clement
BN G. Maddux
BN T. Glavine
BN V. Zambrano

The most power bats in the league with no bench. Should lead in RBIs and HRs, but will be punting SBs. Pitching is terrible with his best SP possibly being Clement. The 2 relievers, however, are two of the best.

Team 11:
C M. Barrett
1B D. Ortiz
2B R. Canó
3B N. Garciaparra
SS C. Guillén
OF S. Podsednik
OF A. Rowand
OF P. Wilson
Util J. Giambi
BN T. Hunter
BN D. Dellucci
BN C. Biggio

SP M. Prior
SP A. Small
RP M. Rivera
RP Fr. Rodríguez
P B. Ryan
P S. Chacón
P C. Wang
BN J. Blanton
BN C. Young

Bad offense after Ortiz and Giambi, but should compete in SBs with Pods and Hunter. Depending on Prior a lot, because he doesn’t have much after that in the way of starting pitching, except maybe CYoung. May lead the league in saves though.

Team 12:
C R. Hernández
1B J. Morneau
2B B. Roberts
3B T. Glaus
SS D. Eckstein
OF G. Jenkins
OF Á. Ríos
OF J. Burnitz
Util H. Blalock
BN W. Taveras
BN D. Jeter
BN Lu. González

SP D. Willis
SP A. Pettitte
RP B. Lidge
RP D. Báez
P M. Buehrle
P K. Wood
P D. Wells
BN M. Morris

No power, but adequate speed with Taveras. Questionable starting pitching and only 1 true reliever. Probably a bottom-feeder here.

Just an interesting tidbit, but Team 8 drafted Bonds at #2. 8-o

I think team 2 is the best. Your team probably would be 2nd. I would get rid of MacDougal for a better second basemen. I dont like him in a roto style league.

Dropping MacDougal would leave me with only 2 RPs which I don't think would help me compete in saves. The only FA secondbasemen are Counsell, Vidro, Mackowiak, Grudz and Mueller.

Team 2's pitching is awesome, and the offense is pretty great as well. I like them!

Team 9 looks to be a contender, although only if his SP really pans out. The offense looks very nice, and your comment of no RP's to speak of is a little off target... Gonzalez should be great.

I would rank them:

1. Team 2
2. Team 9
3. Team 6

Your team (6) is in need of some power. Acquire it, and you could surpass team 9 due to their suspect starters.

i like team 2 6 and 9 respectivly. I think there is a pretty big gab between 2 and 6 but it could easily be cut down throughout the season. You never know what can happen

i like team 2 as well, and your team could be top three or four in the league...as previous posts noted, you could definitely use another big bat to get you into the top two in the league...i also like team number one, not a lot of power but a decent amount with bay, kent, an improvin holliday, and alou...their pitching is among the best, johan is johan and i think schmidt could be good this year, and his relievers are lights out, his other starters are solid too
