You are welcome to join my fantasy baseball league. The league is set up at Yahoo Sports under free fantasy baseball. When signing up for the league just sign up for a team and choose to join an existing league and use the above listed information to sign up. There will be a live draft in this league where you will draft players for your team.

To succeed in this league you must keep up on your team and make lineup changes on a weekly basis. This league will be about doing as well in as many pitching and hitting categories as possible. There are no maximum games played for hitters and no innings pitched maximums for pitchers. If your goal is to finish in the middle of the pack you can get by with just keeping a valid lineup and making an occasional change during the course of the season. If your goal is to win this league it will take some dedication to get this done. The rules are clearly defined at the league web site for everyone to view. If you don’t think this league is for you then I suggest joining another league because many owners plan to field a good team and manage it as well as they can. If you can seriously challenge for this championship then you know your baseball and know how to manager your team very well. This will indeed be a challenge and if you are up for it the more power to you.

This league will allow most trades to go through unless there is a strong suspicion of collaboration or grossly one-sided trades. Trades need to be done in the best interest of each team making the trade. The commissioner holds the power to veto trades and he will act in a fair manner and make decisions based on what is for the betterment of the league.

Please read the rules closely including the roster requirements and scoring system so you will be well prepared come draft day and to have a clear understanding of what you need to know to manage your team most effectively.

Welcome to 2006 Fantasy Baseball and good luck.
