I think these teams are pretty close to each other. I'd probably give you an edge thanks to your pitching. I like your guys a little bit better than his, especially with Prior's injury history (although that should be a non-factor the first week). I really don't like Huff as your starter at 1B. Just too many guys out there that would be an upgrade there. I like your powe in A-Rod and Young. Speed should be decent with A-Rod, Ichiro, and Roberts. Crisp should be solid offensively and score a bunch of runs. Baldelli is an unknown, but I'm gambling right along with you. However, I don't have him as one of my starters. You can probably afford to deal Jeter or Young. Someone in your league must need a solid SS and be willing to pay. That's probably how you could get your 1B. Your friends team looks pretty solid as well. He has god speed with Damon and Reyes. Power is there with Pujols, Jones, and maybe even Blalock. Pitching is where I think the biggest difference will be. I like your SP just a little bit better and I like Gagne more than Foulke. However, if Foulke is fully healthy again, RP should be a wash.

Think you team looks better.

With Jeter, Young, mora and A-rod, you should try to move someone like jeter/young with huge trade value for some more power in the outfield as I expect Jones HR to fall this year. He seems too much like beltre-all the promise in the world and when he finally hits it's "i told you so"- till next year.

Your opponent has huge health issues with his pitching for this year(i think your staff's issues will turn out better), let alone a keeper league.

Just a rookie to fantasy, but this is what I think. ... p?t=172900

Descent team. I would definitely look into trading Jeter and upgrading 1B !Also, not sure if i'd start Baldelli right off the bat.
Good luck.
