I don't see how this trade helps ur team at all. Huff is six years younger than Edmonds and I don't see Edmonds out-performing Huff this season by much, let alone the years to come. Plus Huff can play 3B. Hill and Iguchi are pretty much the same.

I agree with Olympia. If you are building for the future trade, Big Papi for two or three decent players. He is the only player on your roster that has some value anyways. Also, try to move Varitek, his skills are in decline. Move Ortiz and Varitek for a stud hitter, an underrated ace(like Prior, Sheets...) and a prospect or two.

It's pretty safe to say you have no chance to win this year whatsoever. Well if you want to make trades for the future, July might be the better time to do it.

I decided to stock up on young talent and prepare to win many championships in the next few years. How do you think this team will be for this year? next year? 3 years from now?
12 teams, keep 12, 5X5

C Varitek
1B Ortiz, P. Fielder
2B A. Hill, I. Kinsler
SS B. Crosby, BJ Upton
3B R. Zimmerman
OF Huff, J. Gomes, R. Baldelli, M. Bradley

SP B. Myers, D. Haren, J. Papelbon, J. Bonderman, D. Cabrera, E. Santana
RP C. Cordero, K. Foulke, C. Hansen

Leave a link, I'll help you out

you have some good young talent, but if your rebuilding you could use more in the OF (and possibly SP), trade away cordero since you dont need him if your rebuilding and get a young prospect(s). Youll prolly finish in the bottom but you have some good yonug talent like i said and should compete in a couple years ... p?t=172454
