Did you see them in 02 or something? :-? I love watching their old bootlegs...I thought they were great live.

First time I saw them was in the late 80s (88??) opening for Aerosmith. Not awful, but it just wasn't all that great. The set seemed really short (4 songs maybe, man its been a long time) and they didn't even play the one song I wanted to hear live from them at the time (Paradise City).

The other was 1992 (Use Your Illusion Tour) at Arrowhead Stadium when they were co-headlining with Metallica with Body Count opening. They weren't real bad that night, but at that point in time anyone who took the stage after Metallica had just brought the house down paled in comparison. It seemed that all Axl wanted to do was complain about how mistreated he was when the band was in St. Louis.

I don't get around to many concerts.

edit: Does Blue Man Group count?
Yes, I was, uh... I was thinking about ordering the tape, the videotape... about the college girls and the... the wild... the wildness. They're going wild or something? Somebody told me... about going wild.
