Wikipedia WHAT! wrote:Wisdom teeth are third molars that usually appear between the ages of 18 and 20 (although they may appear when older, younger, or fail to appear at all). They are called "wisdom teeth" because they appear so late—much later than the other teeth, at an age where people are supposedly wiser than as a child, when the other teeth erupt. Often they need to be removed when they impact against other teeth—colloquially known as "coming in sideways".

Wisdom teeth are sometimes described as an example of a "vestigial" trait. Some argue that recent changes to softer diets which cause less wear on the teeth may be causing the third molars to be less useful, and, in fact, problematic in many humans. Alternately, it is possible that wisdom teeth were useful when it was common for humans to lose several teeth to decay by the age when they appear.

Although most people have four wisdom teeth, it is possible to have more or fewer. Supernumerary teeth are any extra teeth.

What do you call a doctor that flunks out of medical school?

A dentist!!! Baaaaahahahahaha

Yep, I'm a rabid anti-dentite.

I feel like the want to take all my teeth and rip them out just say they can make a buck...

They are all like "Yea I think we should take those out."

"Why" I say

"Um...well there could be crowding and stuff."

"Oh ok what does that mean"

"Well your teeth could be pressured and uh be crooked."

"well at least by the time you are 75"

anyways I hate dentists

I hate dentists too, but more than the dentists I hate the hygeneists. They are plaque obsessed. poking and picking and flilcking and diggin under the gums. I hate Hygenists.

Same story here except replace "Slept for a day" with "Slept for 3 days". I was fortunate enough to have two extra wisdom teeth on my upper jaw, 6 total, all impacted. !+)

Ouch! :-o

I thought taking out 4, with two of them abscessed was bad. :-o
Yes doctor, I am sick.
Sick of those who are spineless.
Sick of those who feel self-entitled.
Sick of those who are hypocrites.
Yes doctor, an army is forming.
Yes doctor, there will be a war.
Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
