we are using cbs sportsline and want to devise a balanced point system

right now i'm having some trouble making it reasonable

singles 1
doubles 2
triples 3
hrs 4
runs 1
rbis 1
sb 2
cs -2
walks 1
batter ks -1

wins 10
losses 5
cg 5
sho 5
qs 3
er -1
k 1
save 5
bs -2
hold 2
ip 1

results david eckstein is comparable to mo rivera.
not good.

I don't really do point leagues but an rbi is equivalent to a single in that setup. With the pitching 10 points for a win seems like a lot to me, but i don't know the setup of most point systems. Another thing is I don't think you should have cg and sho, or at least make them different values.

Saves should be higher. Although they are more common than wins, the lack of innings and K's evens it out IMO.
My apologies. I have a nephew named Anfernee, and I know how mad he gets when I call him Anthony. Almost as mad as I get when I think about the fact that my sister named him Anfernee.

I would cut out some of the unnecessary stats: 2B, 3B, qs more? and change Stl and CS to net steals.
