Whether you like either network, this is big news as far as television goes. The WB and UPN are merging and will now be known as CW.

Atleast they're collectivizing the garbage; it's one less channel not to watch now. ;-D

So I imagine the CW stands for "Can't Watch."

The WB still has a few shows. Very few.

Haha, I did too.

Two negatives don't make a positive.

The WB isn't so bad. They have some decent shows. I can honestly say I have not watched a single UPN show in my life.

Some of the local sports teams play on UPN, what does this do to them?

The WWE doesn't like this at all. When the change happens in September, that's the same time WWE's contract with UPN for Friday Night Smackdown ends. Talk was that if there was a problem renewing with UPN, that they would wind up possibly moving it to the WB. Talk right now is that CW still wants Smackdown, but since UPN and WB will be merged, WWE will have to take whatever they offer. Should be an interesting situation to watch unfold.
