No way you trade him IMHO. You only trade a prospect of Milledge's caliber if you have to and the Mets no longer have to. Having Manny would be awesome but adding a hitter like Manny would be icing. The Mets offense is currently pretty kick-ass and that's before (presumably) the addition of someone like Ramon Hernandez. Pitching help is still available on the FA market and there will probably be trades available involving Trax and maybe Benson that don't require sacrificing Milledge.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
