Jorge Cantu, what's your thoughts for '06

For $3.00 I'll take Cantu every day of the week in and AL only with a $260.00 budget. I for one think he will be very close to last years numbers.Plus he qualifies at second and third this year.We need at least 20 games to qualify at a posistion. I grabbed him in an off season trade when Alomar was signed. I knew Robbie was done and had Cantu waiting for the final nail in Alomars coffin.

Good multi-position player but it sounds like, based on his minor league numbers, 2005 may be a "fluke" season. I got him off the waiver wire in May as a temporary stop-gag. I had NO IDEA he'd do this!

There's not much hype around him, so you may be able to get him later on in a draft, but don't trade for him. He's one of those guys that could go either way next year. He could improve, but he could easily fall off the map as well.
