Who are the best hitting pitchers?

Postby hooligan1 » Mon Oct 24, 2005 11:18 pm

I have been wondering who the best hitting pitchers are. I know the usual suspects like Maddux, Hampton, Glavine. I think now Willis falls into that group. I was hoping that Cafe members who watch a lot of NL baseball could put togther a list of at least their top-5, maybe top-10 of finest hitting pitchers around.......

Thanks!!!

Not sure how good he normally is but I know Randy Wolf hit two homers in a game last year. ;-D

The two names that instantly pop into my head are Willis and Hampton.

And in ESPN '05 for PS2, Pedro is hitting .350 with 2HR's and 11RBI's through July. :-b
