Same here.

It was odd that they didn't mention it -- but I also thought it was quite the romantic and self-affirming bow out too. Like I couldn't imagine leaving a wife to drown by herself in terror.

This. Also, I'm using this as my basis for betting that Jin is still alive... And they didn't actually show us his body.

My original bet was that Jack would be the new Jacob, and I'm sticking with that. I think I'm wrong about Sawyer being the new bad guy. Makes more sense that Flocke would remain tethered to the island.

For some reason I'm really, really hoping they bring the real Locke back to life before the show ends. If they manage to do that, it would be the most pants-crappingly epic thing they have ever done on the show.

It is going to be Jack. He has been the primary mover this entire show, from the begining of the pilot to first episode of this season (where we flash sideways to Jack on the jet), to this last episode.

Yeah, but this is Lost. We saw Sun's face and only Jin's hands.

If he came back (again), I wouldn't be shocked.

I absolutely would. ESPECIALLY if I had a damn kid who I'd never even met.

If my wife is going to die and there's nothing I can do to save her, I'm gone. And I'd be kicking and cussing my wife to do the same if the roles were reversed.
