That means that you are 25% more likely to be shot and killed in our Nation's Capitol, (which has some of the strictest gun control laws in the nation), than you are in Iraq.
Wether these stats are correct or not Washington has long been the leader in murders per capita in the US. I tjust goes to show you that strict gun control laws do not do anything to deter gun related incidents.
