I've done 6 this season already, and I'm not yet where i want to be. I generally try to translate hot waiver-type guys players into trades.

1) I gave Millar+Lieberthal for Maggs. I'm still waiting for this one to come to fruition

The next was a set of trades to aimed at acquiring Pedro.

2) I gave N Johnson and Worrell for Klesko. Luckily N Johnson went on the DL, so I don't feel as bad.

3) I gave Klesko and Halladay for Pedro (The guy had no one playing at 1B, and this was when Halladay hadn't won a game yet)

4) I gave Jose Jimenez for Biggio.
5) I gave Biggio and Phelps for O Cabrera
6) I gave Hee Seop Choi and Politte for A Huff

Overall, my net loss/gain through trading has been

I gave up Millar, Lieberthal, N Johnson, Worrell, Halladay, Jimenez, Choi, and Politte
Maggs, Pedro, Cabrera, and Huff.

For me, it's 1 :) Hey! I'm confident in my drafting skills :p[/quote]

Confident or great draft, every team needs improving. Only 2 ways to improve, trades and pick ups.

Pfffffft!!! In my Yahoo Winner's league, I'm winning by 19 points. Ranked 550 overall. The only trade I've made in this league was Pudge and Jose Cruz for Randy Johnson. I did make a couple great pickups, so I don't foresee myself trading anytime soon.

In my only other league, I'm prohibited from trading so there! :-)
