I currently have Pettitte, but the Glavine owner is getting nervous based on YTD results and issues that have hit Glavine over the last couple weeks. Would it be an upgrade to take a shot at Glavine for Pettitte, or will they probably end up with similar numbers - Pettitte on better team getting more wins, or Glavine on bad team but better pitcher getting wins.
Can the answer be neither? Pettitte brings nice Wins, but his ERA and WHIP are awful. Glavine may or may not get himself righted, but the Mets stink. And if he's hurt, then he's a black hole. Try trading Pettitte to someone who's: (a) a Yankee fan or (b) impressed by his name, for a young arm that might actually help.
I would go with Pettitte because they both average (mind you on their good nights) around 6 or 7 innings, but Pettitte gets a lot more K's than Glavine and Pettitte I think has the opportunity to win more games. Had both last year and ended up trading Glavine at mid season.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
