Dye out with a mosquito bite...

I've had mosquito bites that swelled up my foot. I had to wear sandals because shoes were too tough to put on

They were talking about this during the CHI/DET game last night -- it was indeed a spider bite and the swelling is in a place that would make 100% contact with the ground in the event he needed to slide -- thigh buttock thing.

Since the area is infected, there was concern that if it broke it would spread and cause further problems.

When you are playing a team that made 4 errors and 3 WPs (as the Tigers did last night), you've picked a good night to take a rest.

Yeah you don't want to mess around with infections. This one guy I played rugby with got an infection in his finger and didn't take care of it very well. The finger itself never got really bad, but since it wasn't nipped in the bud, the infection gradually spread to his back and ate on of his spinal discs. He had to get the two vertebrae on either side of the disc fused together.
