Jim Hendry, Chicago Cubs
- Sosa traded for Hairston...Cubs still footing most of the bill.
- Alou walked
- Burnitz added
- Dusty Baker allowed to ruin one pitcher after another.
- closer, who needs a closer
- Corey Patterson implodes to AAA status.

Don't forget we also let Clement go.

The only defense I can see for Cashman is "The Boss" forcing him into bad decisions. But still no prospects and a nack for getting players that crumble in the spotlight you got to give it to Cashman.

Some other stupid stuff Wade did:

Singed Lieberthal to a 4-year deal for 23.5 million :-t
Trade Estrada for Millwood :-t
Signed Jon Lieber to be the ace of the rotation this year
Signed David Bell to a 4-year 17 million dollar deal (this guy's making almost $5 million!!!!)
Also, Wade did not build a TEAM. He built a bunch of individual players who bring each other down. Living near Philly, I constantly hear Phillies players talking through the media (complaints about Bowa last year, Wag's remarks this year, etc.).

He's made some good moves, however, so he's not as bad as Cashman.
