I'm amazed at that start. I wouldn't expect it to stay that way though.... :-/

I watched most of the start and can say that he looked really sharp. With the exception of a few pitches the entire night his command was spot on and he had very nice movement on his pitches. According to the announcers (ESPN Sunday Night Baseball so take it for what it's worth) his main problem this year has been falling behind batters which makes him unable to go out of the zone with his cutter up or his slider down and in. Tonight he was throwing first pitch strikes to almost every batter. A couple more starts like tonight and he may be worth playing...he might even be worth a pickup now in deeper leagues if you have a roster spot free to be speculative with. While I wouldn't start him for another couple of starts I can give tonight's outing a ringing endorsement. ;-D

Next time, or 2 starts from now, he'll be back to the way he was before
