what is the deal with this guy? I snagged him off waivers in hopes that he can straighten out. He's too good to be in AAA no? He was sucking major ass but he's not a AAA player.

Any predictions?

Jim Hendry in unsure of a timetable for Patterson. He may be in AAA for a week or a month, no one knows. The guy was stuggling severely. I know he isnt a AAA player but he needs to figure something out. Hendry announced he has no plans of trading Patterson, but again has no timetable on when he'll be back with the team.

Without a revolutionary change in his plate approach, he is AAAA at best. a Japanese HOFer.

Patterson is getting older every year and NEEDS to adjust his approach to the game of baseball. I'm not a Cubs fan, but from what I've heard he is a very stubborn player. Hopefully he realizes in AAA that if he wants to be successful he's going to have to start listening to his coaches. If he doesn't I'm afraid he'll never reach his potential. Physical he could be a great even awesome player if he somehow can overcome the mental aspects of his game.
