I'm not convinced Escobar can still avoid surgery. How many times has he already tried to come back this year, only to get DL'd with the same problem? Twice I believe.

I doubt he'll have a good finish to the season, but it doesn't even matter because a manager who hasn't checked in like a month has him.......

yah. unless you have an unlimited or very deep / very nearly unlimited DL, i wouldn't bother with escobar right now (and this is from someone who drafted him and was pscyehd about his early success). he's going to sit there for a long time... maybe once you start hear murmurings that he's a month away or so, then start thinking about it. but until then... at least in my league, our DL bench isn't that deep.

Actually, he already had the surgery to shave down the bone spur in his elbow. But they are saying it's possible that he's not done for the year...
