Of course it will effect his stolen base totals, simply because moving 7 spots down the order means 10%+ fewer ABs.

I think Reyes will be batting leadoff again very shortly. Willlie is just trying to light a fire under him. Reyes is the future of the Mets and that future has him batting leadoff for many years to come.

Cameron will come crashing back to Earth real soon, which will be followed by a ton of K's. I really wish the Mets would have traded Cameron when his value was at it's highest.
What are you guys doing?

Wait, Rollins is on your ww? How is that possible? :-?

If anything, he'll probably run a higher % when on, but he'll probably have less ABs, meaning less chances to run. In the end, I think the change in SBs will be minimal. Obviously, in terms of runs scored, it can't be good.

I don't think it'll last either. Willie has balls to move Reyes out of the leadoff bench Matsui...he's really showing that he will put the best team out on the field. He even swapped Piazza and Floyd in the order when Cliff started off hot. As long as Cam is hot, him batting leadoff is fine...but why isn't Wright batting 2nd or 5th? He doesn't want to put pressure on him, but I think he should be given a chance and not baby'd every step of the way. Certainly Marlon Anderson is not a better option.

This is because its only an 8-team league, universal draft, that this year is HEAVILY weighted toward pitching(2000 inn max!!!) We pleaded with the commish to go standard 5X5 but he wanted something 'fresh and new'. Well he got it. Nobody has a bench. Its collect as many good SP's as you can.
If I dump JR it'll be for Rollins or Lugo.

Umm Rollins is 100 times better then Reyes. I wouldn't know why you would draft Reyes in a 8 team league in the first place.
