Can't say for the entire league, but Torre calls Tony Womack the fastest Yankee he's ever had.

Without having times this is pretty subjective. Otherwise it's a simple answer of who has the better time in a sprint.

My top three choices Gathright, Taveras, and Logan aren't even on there.

Why is Tampa making Gathright wait?

Gardenhire sends Biscuts in to pinch run for people in spring training to shame them.

Tampa shouldn't have called him up in the first place. They have no chance to contend, and they're starting the arbitration and free agnecy clocks on all their high ceiling prospects. By the time those guys hit their prime, they'll have priced themselves out of being Devil Rays. But as far as Gathright goes, he still has some developing to do. His ISO-2 in Triple-A this season is .080 (counting triples as doubles as they are a function of speed and not power). I know his game will always be contact and speed, but he could definately use some more time in the minors to work on his bat.

But my vote also goes to Gathright as the fastest man in baseball. He's got some crazy legs. Has a clause in his contract that prevents him from jumping over cars.
