I have been a conservative trader all year, in a trade crazy league. In the last week though I have made my big moves for the 2nd half:

Sheets and B. Giles for A. Jones
Crawford for Wright and Pods
Hudson and Kendall for V-Mart
Rowand and Fuentes for Hoffman

Needless to say my pitching has kept me in it. I have managed my innings well, and some owners are going to max out. I managed to climb points in W in the last month w/ Haren and Blanton pick ups (arent I lucky?) and looked brilliant to the rest of the league with those pick ups, and showed everybody my confidence by trading away Sheets and Hudson recently.

I have 1 more plan left, trade Maggs/Wright/Blalock/Guillen for:

1. 2 of those guys for a premier hitter
2. 1 of those guys for an SP

And one last thing- I have confidence that Haren is the real deal the rest of the way.

I hope that wasnt too bad. I promise I will help you!

Very savvy moves, I dont have the guts to do some of those. I do see the logic. You have a solid team.

Your team looks very nice, and you made some big, but nice trades there. I'm always scared to do big trades, don't want to screw anything up, but yours look good.

I really can't think of any suggestions right now.

I didn't really help, but I would appreciate if you could look at my team: ... p?t=144109

Im not a huge fan of the VMart trade. He maybe heating up but if he takes another nose dive, this trade could kill you. The trade for hoffman isnt something thats great either but not bad in the same regard. I feel like Fuentes is doing a great job currently and has racked up 10 saves in a relatively short amount of time. He does a nice job with strikeouts and up to this point is helping ERA and whip. Hoffman gets the job done but has had a rough time of it this year. Rowand is a guy that dominated the second half last year. One year isnt enough to say he is a second half player, but youve had him through his struggles and would probably be best suited to see him through until he had some value. Fuentes may get traded and no longer be a closer and in that regard I can somewhat see why you made the deal. You should try and pull a few 2 for 1's, where you give 2 players such as Wright/Estrada for a middle/upper tier SP. You need more pitching rather than bench players unless you have a relatively low innings pitched maximum.
