Thank the good Lord Beltran is BACK. His bat has been heating up slightly, but to see him swipe two in one game... oh yes, ooooh yes.

I'm about to do the same.

SICK of hearing about the biggest bust of the year tag.

The "buy low" window for Carlos is closing. Run . . . don't walk to your local Beltran owner.
What are you guys doing?

And if YOU happen to be the local Beltran owner (as I am in my money league), you just sit back and say "not interested." Unless it's a really big offer of course...

Ha, I just got offered Nick Johnson for him. "He's ranked way higher"

He is. :-]

I've been trying to get Beltran for quite awhile now. I never lost faith in him, nor should anyone who looked at his career numbers.

Currently I've offered up Roy Oswalt for him. I'm hoping he's enough to get it done. Owner said he'd only entertain one for one offers. :-o

I traded Dontrelle Willis for him about a month into the season and I've regretted it every single day since... until today.

If only the little bugger could start hitting and running at the same time. :-°

alright, I'll spare you the nitty gritty. after my draft (for some reason my inter-office league requires AUTO draft, which I hate, but on the other hand, makes for a lot of dealing)

I dealt ichrio and krod for beltran and sosa, as I had no power.

No need for a rocket scientist to tell me how I feel about that now.

Anyway, my team and like 5 others are bucnhed up in saves, and I thought about punting steals, as I am next to last anyway. So Is tart trying to sell my stealers, and one guy, whom I usualyl respect offered pat burrell. The guy is a mets fan and I'm a phils fan, but still. and it was like minutes after the steals.

Gimmie a break. As a beltran owner, I'm only taking equivalent drafted talent (in some form), or semi-legit overperformin talent and saves or something.

What is the point of trading him now for less than he was drafted? he COULD do in half a year even if his full year stats don't measure up. and going FORWARD is the way you gotta look at trades.

I'd think the guy who offered oswalt should get him, but that is a bold move.
