I might need to replace Lackey!

Postby Super GM » Fri Jun 06, 2003 8:31 am

I'm looking to add another pitcher to my lineup. These are the guys still available in my FA pool.

Jose Contreras (SP,RP-NYY)
Byung-Hyun Kim (RP,SP-Bos)
Johan Santana (RP,SP-Min)
Kevin Appier (SP-Ana)
Livan Hernandez (SP-Mon) (don't really trust him)
Shane Reynolds (SP-Atl)(inconsistent)
Horacio Ramirez (SP-Atl) (inconsistent)
Mike Hampton (SP-Atl) (inconsistent)

Anybody out there y'all like? Got any other suggestions?

This is my pitching staff right now:

SP Dontrelle Willis (SP-Fla)
SP Mark Mulder (SP-Oak)
RP John Smoltz (RP-Atl)
RP Mike Williams (RP-Pit)
P Freddy Garcia (SP-Sea)
P Brett Myers (SP-Phi)
P John Lackey (SP-Ana)
Bench Pedro Martinez (SP-Bos) (DL)
Bench Esteban Loaiza (SP-CWS)
DL Josh Beckett (SP-Fla)

Might need to replace Lackey? That's funny. :-B

Drop Lackey and Garcia and pick up Kim and Contreras.

I agree with Madison here. Drop Lackey and Garcia for Kim and Contreras
