Recently made a lot of moves...

Postby ReginaldVelJohnson » Fri Jun 24, 2005 9:56 am

I've struggled all season near the bottom of the standings due to a lot of slow starts, but I've worked my ass off making moves (just got my hands on Utley, Vizquel, Edmonds, Lee, Pierre, Ensberg, Huff, Unit, Colon, Carpenter and Young within the past month) and I feel like this team is pretty well stacked now. Right now I'm in 6th and I keep moving up, you think I have a shot at making a serious move for the top of the standings?

youre not very strong at C and SS but other than that you have a team that should go to the playoffs with a 1 or 2 seed. your pitching staff is very very good. Anytime your pitching staff is anchored by Clemens, Buehrle, Colon and Caprpenter youre gonna be in the mix. If I were you I would package Vizquel with RJ and net yourself a big time SS. Then when Bonds comes off the DL you trade him for a stud SP such as Halladay, Peavy. So in the end you still have a great OF, you upgrade at SS and end up replacing RJ in your pitching rotation with the likes of a Halladay or Peavy before you go into the playoffs

good luck
