I have been struggling all season at third base. Currently, i have been waiting for alfonzo to do something but it seems like he can't get it together. San fran has a series coming up against the tigers. So would you pick up batista or teixeira or wait to see what happens in the detroit series with fonzie? My biggest weakness is in the HR/rbi category also.

Lastly, Leiter has been killing my WHIP and era. Is it worth dropping him to pick up a mid reliever with a low whip and era? I am 2nd to last in whip and 6th in era in a 10 team rotisserie league.

thanks all...

Look into Ensberg. He should be playing full-time from now on.

Bill Mueller or Aramis Ramirez if they are on your waivers.

In regards to your Al Leiter question, personally I would try to be a little bit more patient with him unless you have a great depth at starting pitcher. If not, I would try to be patient with him because his ERA and WHIP should go down. If you pick up a good mid-reliever, you lose Leiter's win and a couple of K's. As I said before, if you're deep at starting pitching, pick up the mid-reliever with a low ERA and WHIP, that way your team can do better.
