Hey guys
Just lost Escobar to the dl again, and with Prior down, I need some k's. Seanez was on my wire and I grabbed him. His k/9 numbers are among the best in the league, right up there with Ryan. I know very little about this guy, and I have no idea if he can keep it up. But right now, a 14.61 k/9 is disgusting, and a .229 opp BA, an era under 3 and whip under 1.2 are pretty solid.

Anyone have any input/knowledge about this guy and his stuff?

Thanks a lot.

I have him on my farm team in my twenty team league ( we each own two teams). He's been good, but that's all I know ;-D

He's a true middle reliever usually coming in the 6th inning or so. In the SD pen pecking order he's below Hoffman, Linebrick and Otsuka.

B/c he does have such a great K/IP rate, they will bring him in when they desperately need K's. For instance man on 1st and 3rd no outs. It would be interesting to see how many inherited runners he has allowed to score.

I'm a big fan of MR's to shave a little off the ERA and WHIP while racking up the K's, thus I'm a Rudy Seanez fan. Much like I was a Ryan fan early last year and Lidge/Santana fan the year before that.
