I had a friend who ruptured his ACL playing hackeysack!

Ha! Full-contact hackysack, I assume...

Just to add another braggart to the bunch, three days ago I sent Barmes and Garret Anderson away for Miguel Cabrera. :-)

as if i wasn't already feeling great about my Barmes for his Hudson, now I feel extra-warm and fuzzy inside.

Buddy of mine broke his clavicle running into a goalpost going for a header playing soccer.

The following year, on the exact same day, he did the same with the other clavicle (this time it was a defensive header...)

Third year we had a game again on the same day... I don't think he took a header all game. ;-D

Well he hasn't neccessarily become an injury risk right? :-D I just hope this isn't the start of a long line of freak accidents for Barmes .... :-°

Haha! :-D Nah, I don't classify him as an injury risk just yet. ;-)

What I was getting at is post a projection for Barmes next year......

I know it's early since we don't know who's moving to what teams, but say they all stay where they are. Projection that you're comfortable with for Barmes? Pretty hard to do with as little as he played this year, but certainly worth a look next year. Should definitely be an interesting discussion piece in the offseason. :-)

Lol. Maybe I'm just a cynic but I think anyone who can't carry the damn groceries into the house without breaking their clavivle is an automatic injury risk. :-b
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
