Can I think out loud?

Maybe our pitching is not that good...

Lights out..Far better than any other we have..And he will only get better!!

Has a live arm! But sometimes to live, as he can send it to the 3rd row at times.
His pitches are about as hot as his head when he gets behind.
He hasn't quite tapped his potential, but that will come with age.

Maybe the biggest one-hit-wonder since Tiffany(oh, did I show my age?)
Supposed to be the ace for SD...never happened Supposed to be the ace for Fla..never happened..We got atleast a year out of him, but now.... :-P

Flip a coin...He either gives everything up...or shuts the opposition down...We've been lucky so far (until today)

Hot now..but next outing?????

OK middle relief..If we are already behind...couldn't hold a game if it was a bag of money

:-P Can't say no more...I saw last year....

Made out to be our savior...But in reality just an above average middle reliever.

Tremendous fastball...Not consistent enough to be trade bait.

Fasserro..enough said

out,walk,out,walk,out...this way it works out but it can't last

Maybe I watched a bad game today..Maybe I watched a bad couple of games...maybe its June and this is the Cubbies...But hell, Even if we were 0-161 I would think we still had a shot at the playoffs :-B

Go Cubbies!!!!

Then again, there are teams that would kill for that pitching staff... and the rest would kill for Prior... :-)

I still love that pitching staff. The problem could be that neither Wood nor Estes can anchor the rotation, Wood is still too inexperienced and Estes isn't talented enough.

Alfonsucka.. :*)

Here I thought that I was the only one who who called him that....I can agree with some of the opinions, but be patient....Prior,Wood and Zambrano are the bombs of the staff,Estes and Clement I have lost my head with, when I hear that they are pitching the next day,I almost cringe to think what game they'll be bringing to the ball park..! Remlinger has been better than let's say Fassero and or Gordon....Veres well being on the DL doesn't show us a heck of a lot either..! I have enjoyed watching this Wellemeyer kid,and really am looking forward to him getting his chance to earn a starting spot on the rotation.....Borowski is still more consistant than Antonio will ever be..! Guthrie too injured prone to evaluate...Farnsworth tries to overthrow way too much...which burns him more times than not.....oh well......overall I am pleased with the Cubs staff.....yes it can always be better, but it is far better than it has been in years.....I'm optimistic about our 2003 Cubbies....we have depth,we have go get Lowell so that we can finally celebrate a World Championship..! ;-D
