Ah, what the heck. Go for it. You know you want to. And look, his numbers against ARI over his career are pretty good:
GS W-L IP K BB ER ERA WHIP BAA
4 1-1 28 20 13 9 2.89 1.14 .168
Small sample? For sure! But some times guys just match up well against another team.
And it's not like the Diamondbacks have been tearing it up. Okay, so they scored a bunch of runs today, but do you really think they can do it two days in a row?
And he's pitching against some joker named Andrew Good. How good can a guy named Good be? He's still looking for the first win of his career. He'll probably need to bring down his 5.57 ERA to do that (or wait until he's bumped to the bullpen).
I mean, you probably won't get a win - the Pads bullpen is sure to blow it - but in a H2H league you might get some numbers that help you in a tight race.
I'll toss out a prediction:
6IP 2ER 4K 2BB 6 hits
If, big if, the Pads score enough runs to give him the lead when he leaves, I say there's a 50-50 shot of the bullpen holding the lead.
(Hi, I'm ramble2. I'm prepared to eat crow on Monday night!)
