He's having a good season up to now and the spin was that he's healthier than he's ever been at this point of the season.

Then yesterday, he's a last-minute scratch because of "soreness in his oblique".

Any KC homers have any additional information?

Watched their game tonight, and the announcers said he hoped to be back in the lineup Friday.

That said, this is Sweeney we're talking about. His day-to-day injuries sometimes turn into week-to-week. Hope for the best, I guess.

Yeah he had the same problem in spring training and he doesn't seem to concerned about it.

i would deal him if i were you. his value cannot be any higher and people might think he'll stay healthy the whole season. i'm sure u can get something really good for him and not have to deal with the headache that will eventually come with him.

I agree. Sweeney is great when he plays. He hasn't played more than 126 games since 2001 so selling high would be a great idea especially in H2H leagues.

i was able to get a slumping huff 1 for 1 after sweeney's hot start last year. i suggest you try to do something similar this season. ;-D
