first base

Is there any chance he moves to first base as bagwell fades into the twilight ? Even though lane is slumping of late, him, taveras, and luke scott seem to be be the OF of the future and berkmen has seen time at first. Is it a possible move ? This is important to me as Put Outs are a stat in my 10x10 league and firstbasemen who qualify elsewhere are big.

He already has 2 games at first and will mostly likely stay there until Bagwell comes back.

Those two games were his first two games back. He's been in the OF since. Bags hasn't played in any of the games. While they may very well move him to 1B later in the season (or even tonight for all I know), I wouldn't presume it is a done deal.

However, as the most likely offensive call-ups for the Astros are Scott and Burke - and both are more likely to play OF than 1B, you may very well be correct. But, right now, it looks like he's in the OF for the time being.
