Toby Hall--just got he good?

Postby benjapage » Fri May 16, 2003 7:03 pm

i actually drafted him. he didn't perform, so i dropped him --started playing the "hot catcher" game. now, he's hot himself.

is he going to bat .280 for the year? will he ever hit some home runs? is he worth sweating?

In a deep AL only league he is worth having as a starter (as I do) but in mixed leagues he is probaly only worth a back up spot if that. If you are weak at C then pick up the hot hand, but if your solid then go with someone proven.

I don't think much of Hall, but with the lack of quality catchers, he could be your best bet. Playing "hot" catcher is hard and I don't recommend it.
