well, my offense is top notch, I believe'

c- hernandez
1b- klesko
2b- vidro
ss- nomar
3b- pujols
of- bonds, beltran, vlad
util- damon or edgar or wilkerson

i think that's a very nice offense. it's my staff that bothers me right now
My hair's turnin' white, my neck's always been red, my collar's still blue
We've always been here tryin' to sing the truth to you
Guess you could say we've always been red white and blue

Oh, you mean my staff? Schilling, Buehrle, Maddux, Pineiro, Ohka. You all know about the first 3 by now, and Pineiro... let's put in some sportsline quotes:

January: "Look for the young hurler to be even more reliable this season and provide solid stats in most of the pitching categories. He might very well approach the 20-win mark and should be a solid second Fantasy starter in AL-only leagues. "

This Wednesday: "Pineiro won his first game since April 25 against Detroit. Two of his three wins have been against Cleveland and Detroit. He is not worth using in AL-only leagues unless the matchup is favorable."

That's a bit of a downgrade, huh?

And as for the beating Ohka's taken: "In his past two starts entering Thursday's game, Ohka allowed 10 earned runs and 13 hits in only 3 2/3 innings. He also yielded three home runs."
