My current ML's:
Aubrey, Michael 1B CLE
Stewart, Ian 3B COL
Kinsler, Ian SS TEX
Baker, Scott SP
Cain, Matt P SF
Would U drop any of the above for the folowing:
-Walter Young,1b Orioles
- Hayden Penn, rhp, Orioles
-Scott Olsen, lhp, Marlins
- Chuck Tiffany, lhp, Dodgers
-Billy Butler, 3b, Royals
-chad billingsly, sp Dodgers
Yeah I'd do what dawgpound said. I also would prolly pick up Olsen and Butler, dropping Aubrey (who I think lacks power for a 1B, more of a gap hitter) and Kinsler. Then again I'll always go with prospects that have more potential, over ones who are just pretty solid to pretty good.
Butler is very advanced for his age and already in High A at 19, where he is raking and showing great plate discipline. Pitchers are more risky, but Olsen has been throwing the ball well this year and is just 21 in AA. The Marlins also have a pretty nice track record of developing arms lately.
But if you want to be safe and stay away from pitchers, I'd understand. Though I'd still say add Butler before he becomes a bigger prospect.
Kinslar is now playing second base pretty much full time. Rumors are Butler will be moved because of his defense. What does that do to his value?Walter Young has been on fire so far. He could be a solid corner. And yes pitchers are tough to take at this level but Hayden Penn has been lights out.
