It's not time to panic yet. A lot of good closers (Kolb not included) have been having a tough time. But I don not think that the Braves are a team that will put up with poor performances from their pitchers. They have the assets to make moves but I think that option number one is in the starting rotation. If he keeps picking up the loses he may want his old job back.
The Gabe Gross rumour is an old one. The Jays are still very high on Gross and their pitching is doing well. But a couple more performances from Towers like the one yesterday and Riccardi may be taking Schuerholz's calls.
