Any Prior news?

Postby mikemcj55 » Sat Apr 02, 2005 7:34 pm

Hey guys,
I saw that Prior was supposed to pitch against some minor leaguers today, and was wondering if anyone knew how it went. I know I'm not the only guy this year who has a lot riding on that elbow. Appreciate any updates.

they said his line during the mariners/cubs games. i dont remember what it was but it didnt sound too good. still, health is the only important thing and they didnt mention any complications or elbow pain.

He let up 5 runs in 4 innings. 3BB and 5K. His line doesn't look good but atleast he pitched pain free.

It was a rough outing for him agianst the AAA Padres....but my concern is not how he felt in the game....but how he feels tomorrow.. :-o

Congrats on 12k DHC!

Not the best numbers you'd like to see from your ace facing minor leaguers. Probably some rust, but as long as hes healthy he should get better.

Thanks guys, I'm not concerned about his numbers too much right now either. He's obviously got the stuff, its a question of health for me. So I'll just keep crossing my fingers.

Come on prior!!

I wouldn't worry about it. When you are coming back from an injury like that, they usually just have you throw fastballs anyway.
