I have Beltran 2nd Vlad 3rd..plus Vlad while it probably won't affect him, doesn't have the greatest back in the world.

As for the park factor Minute Maid Park was one of the worst for lefties last year in hitting homeruns, while Shea is more average for lefties...

Its not like I'm trashing Beltran, I take him 3rd. But I feel I get the better player with Vlad, and I think he'll give you more than Beltran this year. Its close, but I'd rather have Vlad. Plus he can DH when hes tired or slightly injured.

i got a question for you guys. according to you, who had a better year last year? i think that will help me with your opinions. beltran may have had a horrible BA last year, but cbs points leagues have beltran as the better player in 2004 compared to vlad (in points). so i dont know if i can buy your arguments (for my league) if you think that vlad had a better year last year.

Vlad beat him in everything expect steals. Including roughly .50 BA points. Who do you think wsa better?

Last year is last year..Beltran is going to a slighty better ball park for Left-Handers and his average will be higher-last year I think he hit like .225 at home, but was a .300 hitter on the road
