I kind of like the guy, but will he hold up? That said, I think choosing between Ramirez, Lowry or Madritsch is pretty much a crap shoot. If you're looking for a spec grab, consider Capuano. I'm becoming more and more convinced that Mike Maddux is as good as it gets as a pitching coach, and that Capuano will be a significant sleeper this year. And he's also a much likelier source of consistent K's than the aforementioned trio.

Well I'm targeting Horacio in my 9-team NL-Only auction as I think he'll have much more value than I'll have to pay for. I really like him to have a 14Win/120K/3.6ERA/1.28WHIP season. I already have Oliver Perez, Clemens, and L Hernandez and enough money to buy another stud K-pitcher so K's aren't a huge priority for me. I'll take that $20 bet LBJ.

No offense but I have very little assurance that you'll pay when you lose.

None taken. As far as I'm concerned the bet's on and we're both good for it. If you can't trust a fellow fantasy baseballer, who can you trust? Just need someone else to type "Witness" in this thread and it's official.

I can't believe this thread is still chugging away. Hopefully, I will be able to shuffle Ramirez, Madritsch, Lowry, Capuano, and Bedard on and off of the Free Agent wire and see what sticks.

It worked with Ollie Perez. It didn't work with Matt Riley.

LBJ, I'll make you a $10 bet. I've made a whole bunch of bets on the season already, I don't wanna be strapped for cash if I lose all of them :-D

OK I can do $10. Also a little "witness" post would be helpful for the bet with letsplay2 :-)

I'm going to have to do a self-witness here.

I"ll be a witness and I would like $10 as well. I love Horacio and have for 3 years. His stats don't tell how good this guy is...just watch him pitch an entire game and you'll see that the k's aren't part of his game but he NEVER gives in to a hitter and the results will show his true talent. ;-D
